TOOLS worth £4,000 were stolen from a van in a busy Southend car park.
Police have appealed for information after the tools were stolen from a blue Citroen van which was parked near the Tradepoint store at the B&Q car park in Fossetts Way.
It happend while the owner went into the store.
The incident happened between 1.30pm and 2pm on Saturday, September 10.
The power tools were Milwaukee, Festool, Dewalt and Makita brands and some had the initials ECO on them.
Anyone with information about the theft or the whereabouts of the tools can call PC Aldridge at Shoebury police station on 101 or 0300 333 4444.
