Canvey will host Evo-Stik One side Uxbridge in an FA Trophy replay at the Prospects Stadium on Tuesday after the sides played out a roller-coaster 3-3 draw in Middlesex this afternoon.

Canvey led 2-0 midway through the first-half but trailed 3-2 heading into the last 10 minutes before captain Rob King equalised to ensure the tie ended all square.

The Gulls took a ninth minute lead when Louis Dennis sprung the offside trap to cut the ball back for King to tap home.

And they doubled that lead midway through the first-half when Jay Curran headed home from a corner.

The hosts were quickly back in the tie, though, when Danny Julienne swapped passes with Chris Moore before slotting the ball under keeper Ashlee Jones.

And they drew level four minutes before the break, from the penalty spot following a foul on Craige Tomkins by Rickie Hayles.

Jones got a hand to the resulting spot kick from Moore, but it went in to send the teams in all square at 2-2 at the interval.

Uxbridge completed their comeback by taking a 66th minute lead when Robbie Blackwell’s error let in Moore for an easy finish.

But the Gulls drew level with 10 minutes to go when Harrison’s Chatting’s excellent cross was finished by King.

Home keeper Matt Elston-Bull made two good late saves to send Bradley Woods-Garness and King a winner.

Canvey: Jones, Miller, Dumas, Blackwell, Hayles, Orlu, Curran, King, Woods-Garness, Dennis, Chatting.

Echo MOM: Rob King (Canvey).
