Cowley aims to boost squad ahead of 10-games in March

CONCORD Rangers manager Danny Cowley said he’s working hard to bolster his squad after the loss of four key players.

The Beachboys have 10 matches to play in March and Cowley said that is going to test their thin squad severely.

He said: “We are going to be playing nearly a quarter of a season in one month, and the fact that we’ve lost four key players will hurt us.

“Tom Lovelock has gone back to Sutton, Reece Harris has gone to America, Jack Lampe has on–going health issues with his heart, and now Harry Elmes has broken his leg.

“That’s left us with a huge problem but we are doing our very, very best to bring a few new faces in otherwise we’ll find it very difficult in March.”

Concord go to Bognor Regis today. The Beachboys will want to exact some revenge for a disappointing 3-1 defeat at the Aspect Arena to the newly-promoted side on the opening day of the season.
