A BRACE from Tony Stokes helped Concord Rangers to a 3-1 win over Hayes & Yeading at the Aspect Arena this afternoon.

Stokes opened the scoring for the Beachboys in the 39th minute and netted his second on the hour.

Miles Hippolyte reduced the arrears three minutes later but James White’s 90th minute goal ensured the points and 13th place in the Skrill South table for Danny Canvey Island secured a 3-2 win over Wealdstone at the Prospects Stadium.

Jason Hallett put the Gulls in front in the 21st minute but Tom Pett leveled for the Stones in the 36th minute.

Jonathan Wright put the visitors in front for the first time in the 66th minute.

Tom Strickland equalized for Danny Heale’s team five minutes from time before Nick Humphrey netted in the 90th minute to make sure of the points for Canvey.

East Thurrock went down 3-1 at Bognor, who played the final 19 minutes with 10 men.

Rocks suffered an early setback in the 11th minute when Terry Dodd put Bognor in front.

But Tom Stephen restored parity from the penalty spot two minutes later.

But Kane Wills handed the hosts the advantage by scoring a second in the 24th minute and Terry Dodd put Bognor in control by scoring his second in the 33rd minute.

Bognor were reduced to 10 men in the 71st minute when Craig Robson was sent off but John Coventry’s side were unable to capitalise on the numerical advantage.

Billericay saw their home match against Wingate & Finchley postponed after the New Lodge pitch failed a pitch inspection.
