CONCORD begin a gruelling run of three Skrill South games in five days away to Bishop’s Stortford tonight.

The Beachboys will be hoping to prove Saturday’s disappointment at Hayes was a blip with a positive result against Rod Stringer’s side.

A first-half goal from Freddie Ladapo was enough to end the islanders’ five-match unbeaten run on the weekend.

And before that run of four wins and a draw that defeat came at home to Stortford – a 2-0 reverse which saw the visitors play the majority of the game with 10 men and striker Cliff Akurang in goal.

Stortford are two points above Concord in the table and seven points off the play-off places, and both teams have lots of games on their league rivals.

Concord boss Danny Cowley has always had a good friendship with Stringer – but both will put aside any niceties for 90 minutes tonight at the ProKitUK Stadium.
