INJURY time goals for both Concord Rangers and Great Wakering Rovers saw them draw and win respectively on Tuesday night.

Substitute Steve King popped up in the second minute of added on time to turn the ball home to earn the Beachboys a 2-2 draw in their Conference South clash at Tonbridge Angels.

Sam Collins had given Concord the lead after 17 minutes but the hosts equalised just after the half time break through Evan James.

Then with ten minutes left Mark Lovell sent the relegation threatened side ahead when he headered past Jamie Butler.

But King, who replaced John Easterford in the 85th minute, came to the rescue as he quickly reacted to a rebound after Lewis Carey could only parry Collins’ shot.

Concord sit in tenth place in the league, four points behind the play-off zone but with two games in hand over fifth placed Dover Athletic.

Rovers had to come from a goal down to clinch three points over Takeley and move eight points ahead of Tower Hamlets who they face on Saturday.

Takeley took the lead after 21 minutes and Rovers were left waiting until the 76th minute before they equalised through a Billy Radley strike.

Then deep into injury time, player-manager Dan Trenkel put the visitors ahead when he nodded the ball home.

Also in action on Tuesday night were Hullbridge Sports who won their Essex Senior League match away at Barking 2-1.

Tom Ranger and Harry Long both scored in the first half for Dan Braney’s men before Joe Staunton’s goal for the home side set up a nervy finish.
