STANFORD-LE-HOPE’S hurdles star Hayley McLean is edging closer to her dream of representing England at this summer’s Commonwealth Games.

She is now tantalisingly close to the B-standard needed for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow which stands at 57.0s.
The reigning European Junior 400m hurdles champion is in her final week of a month-long training camp in Florida.
A week earlier she had clocked 57.62s at a meeting in Gainesville.
Former Southend High School for Boys pupil Richard Morrissey is also enjoying life in the Florida sunshine.
Morrissey, who is an Ireland international and aiming for a spot at the European- Championships this summer, got PBs in both the 100m (10.81s) and 200m (21.27s) at a meeting in Clermont.
He also recorded his fourth fastest 400m time ever of 46.83s.
