Ware 3-2 Great Wakering Rovers

GREAT Wakering Rovers lost on their travels despite taking the lead against hard-working Ware

Player/ manager Dan Trenkel started for Rovers for the first time this term although he was unable to bring a tepid first half to life.

However, after the break the goals began flowing and it was the hosts who made the breakthrough – Albert Adu putting Ware into the lead.

But that was short-lived as Trenkel headed an equaliser. Good wing play between Billy Radley and John Bradley saw the latter cross for Trenkel to head home.

Adam Seal was forced into a good save and Wakering moved into the lead shortly afterwards.

A long Stuart Hepburn throw caused panic in the box and Nick Skelton was in the right place at the right time to volley home.

That lead lasted only two minutes as Francis Okooboh struck for Ware and Ajet Shehu hit the winner five minutes later to condemn Trenkel’s men to defeat.
