A STERLING effort from Mudassar Rahim saw him triumph in all three mixed doubles finals at Wickford Tennis Club’s Autumn Finals.
Despite being affected by serious cramps, Rahim impressed in finals with partners Mikki Allen and Jo Rifat to secure an impressive treble.
In the Bob Chapman Cup, Rahim and Allen won in comfortable fashion to defeat Sarah Stannard and Stewart Clark 6-2 6-4.
He then teamed up with Rifat to secure the Ellis Veteran's Trophy, defeating Glynis Exley and Ken Ellis 7-6 6-3.
And finally, teaming up with Allen once again, Rahim won the Colin Young Trophy, beating Glynis Exley and Bob Chapman 6-4 6-1.
In the Singles Plate Finals, Jeff Rifat beat Joe Blakeston 6-1 6-4 while Glynis Exley breezed past Karen Bond 6-1 6-0.
