ROUND-UP: Concord Rangers travel to Weston-Super-Mare tomorrow hoping to exorcise some demons having endured their worst defeat in the Conference South to date on their last visit.

The Beach Boys were crushed 5-0 in October 2013 but have since gone on to make themselves one of the hardest teams to beat in the division, having lost only eight games this season – a record only bettered by leaders Bromley.

They are currently in the middle of a 10 match unbeaten run in the league (12 in all competitions) and haven’t lost in their last six outings, a record manager Danny Cowley is very proud of.

“We have done very well recently but we weren’t at our best against Bath last weekend (1-1 draw),” he said. “I think the only time we got in their penalty area was when we scored. I am looking for us to play with more confidence tomorrow and play with more freedom.

“We were well beaten by Weston last season but we were in the middle of a very busy run and had injury problems. But that was last year and we have come a long way since then.

“It is a long journey for us but we will prepare in the right way and go there believing we can get a positive result.”

Midfielder Joe Gardner, inset, will miss the match through suspension.

Weston sit 14th in the league, seven points off eighth-placed Concord who have a game in hand.

In the Ryman Premier League, East Thurrock United visit a stuttering Dulwich Hamlet side as they look to build on their win over Hampton & Richmong Borough last weekend.

Rocks hadn’t won in six games beforehand but Max Cornhill’s late strike last time out put them only one point outside the play-off places.

Dulwich are fourth and had designs on the league title before three defeats in the last five ruined those hopes.

Canvey Island travel to struggling Harrow Borough, as the club look to end a difficult season on a high.

The Gulls lost 1-0 at Hendon on Wednesday night and manager Danny Heale says two more wins from the club’s final seven fixtures should be enough to secure their place in the division for another year.

However, Harrow are scrapping for their lives at the bottom of the division, and sit four points from safety. They have enjoyed a mini renaissance recently and haven’t lost in their last four league games, taking points off Maidstone, Leiston and Wingate & Finchley.

John Easterford returns for the match, although will miss the next three games after being sent off twice in his last three games.

Billericay Town lost their first home match in 14 games on Monday against leaders Maidstone United and now host Hendon, who have won 10 of their last 11 games to move into second.
