CONCORD Rangers stretched their unbeaten run to 14 with a 3-2 win over play-off rivals Havant & Waterlooville and move to within a point of the top five.
The Beach Boys, who beat Havant against the odds at the start of the year, were good value for the win that completed the double over 4th placed Havant.
A brace from Lewis Taaffe plus a strike from Taylor Miles gave Concord the points, despite going behind early on.
With only eight minutes on the clock, Ben Wright put the visitors ahead following a swift counter-attacking move. Ben Swallow and Bradley Bubb combined effectively, with Wright the beneficiary of their good work.
Concord hit back and with 26 minutes on the clock Taaffe levelled the scores. Miles' cut-back fell to the striker and he slid the ball home.
That was the score at the break, but 10 minutes after the interval Taaffe scored his and Concord's second of the evening.
A Steve Cawley deflected effort dropped to the striker and he fired home impressively.
Concord weren't finished and Miles created and finished the third goal. He stole possession before dancing past a number of challenges and striking home on the half-volley.
The final five minutes were made interesting when Scott Donnelly hit hit beyond Josh Vickers, to concede more than one in a game for the first time in two months.
But it stayed 3-2 and kept alive Concord's play-off dream.
Concord Rangers: Vickers, Walker, Glozier (Lampe), Woodyard, King, Fry, Miles, White, Taaffe (Stokes), Cawley (Dowie), Collins
