CONCORD Rangers have signed former Wealdstone defender James Hammond.
Hammond had spent five seasons with the Stones who are National League South rivals of Concord.
He came through the youth ranks at Colchester United and will fill a hole at right back left by the departure of Jeremy Walker to Braintree Town.
Concord continue their pre-season campaign tonight when they travel to local rivals Great Wakering Rovers (7.45pm kick-off).
Elsewhere in pre-season friendlies tonight, Billericay Town entertain more National League South opposition.
Last weekend they drew 0-0 with St Albans and tonight they welcome Bishop’s Stortford to New Lodge (7.45pm).
East Thurrock United travel to Ryman One North side Waltham Abbey while Bowers & Pitsea host Redbridge.
