THE PREVIEW: Great Wakering have had a terrific start to the season, with seven points from the first three games, while Tilbury have also recorded two wins in that time.
Rovers have bounced back from losing positions twice in the last week, including against Maldon & Tiptree on Saturday, which is something that has changed from last season when they were leaking a lot of late goals.
But Tilbury are a force at home, and don’t concede many goals, evident by their opening day shut-out against Wroxham.
This one could go either way.
RECENT RESULTS: WDW
WHAT HE SAYS: Rovers boss Dan Trenkel said: Some of the football we played against Maldon was superb and to come from 2-1 down to win is testament to our team spirit and resilience. We had 14 men on that pitch and Maldon couldn’t compete.
We'll absolutely be fielding a full strength side tomorrow.
We have always said to our players that if they play well they will keep their shirt and, after three games, we are certainly not at a stage where we have to rest players quite yet!
TEAM NEWS: Jacob Cleaver came off with breathing difficulties (asthma) on Saturday and he may not play but other than that it will be the same squad.
