THE PREVIEW: Both sides have had contrasting starts to the season.
Canvey are yet to win in the league, shipping a 94th minute equaliser against Bognor Regis on Saturday, while things are quite different for Grays. Two wins and a draw from the first three games, Grays are among the favourites to challenge at the top this year, and made the final of this competition last year, although both managers are expected tomake changes.
WHAT HE SAID: Canvey manager Danny Heale said: Conceding in the last minute to draw against Bognor felt like a loss but we played very well in that game considering we had a man sent off in the first-half.
A poor refereeing decision led to their goal but we showed great character.
Grays are a good team and have been throwing a bit of money around and fair play to them. Mark Bentley has got them playing well and they will be a tough opponent. We don’t normally give this competition our full attention but we want to win every game.”

TEAM NEWS: Heale confirmed he would rotate his squad, with a number of younger players likely to get minutes.
Lawrence Yiga will sit out the last match of a suspension, and is likely to return to the fold on Saturday.
