Billericay Town 1–1 Merstham Town
From New Lodge Ryman
Premier League
BILLERICAY Town drew their third match of the season as they struggled to a point against newly promoted Merstham Town.
Town had taken an early lead through Onome Sodje, his second goal in consecutive home league matches, but the hosts couldn’t make it to half-time with that advantage intact.
A goal from Taurean Roberts with 30 minutes on the clock ensured a share of the points for Merstham.
Both sides came close to grabbing a winner in the second period but it wasn’t to be, as Town failed to win for the third time in a week.
