THE PREVIEW: Canvey are strong favourites to progress in the Essex Senior Cup although they are expected to make a number of changes for the trip to Barking.
The Gulls were hammered 5-0 by Bognor Regis and boss Danny Heale expects a reaction tonight.
Canvey also suffered a number of injuries on Saturday, and will be without some star names come tonight’s match.
Barking sit sixth in the Essex Senior League and warmed up for the clash with a 5-1 rout of Enfield 1893 on Saturday.
WHAT HE SAID: Gulls boss Danny Heale said: “We were terrible on Saturday. It was one of those days where nothing went right but I can’t hammer the team as we have been so good recently.
“The boys were gutted after the match and want to put it right. We need to work hard in every match otherwise we will come unstuck.
“We will head there confident of getting a result and then hope to pick up another win on Saturday in the FA Trophy.”
