SOUTHEND United will travel to East Thurrock United in the fourth round of the Essex Senior Cup…if they can get the better of Ryman One North minnows Redbridge next Tuesday.

Blues’ match with Redbridge will be the last third round tie to be played and, should they win they will be heading to Rookery Hill to take on Ryman Premier League side East Thurrock.

While East Thurrock may face a League One side, Canvey Island will certainly be tackling a side from the third tier having drawn Colchester United.

The Gulls will travel to the Weston Homes Community Stadium after Danny Heale watched his side beat Barking on Tuesday.

Holders Concord Rangers will strongly fancy their chances of progression and edging a step closer to retaining the competition for a third successive season, when they welcome Ryman One North outfit Romford to the Aspect Arena.

Bowers & Pitsea play their third round tie against Ilford tonight and, should they win, they face a trip to Brentwood Town.

All the matches will be played on or before Saturday, December 12.
