THE PREVIEW: Billericay are a team on the up in the league. Having lost only two matches in their last 12 in the league, Town have crept up the table and sit in ninth ahead of the weekend’s fixtures.
The league is so tight, three points could see them climb as high as fourth in the standings, although they will face a tough ask at Burgess Hill.
Having won promotion last season, Burgess Hill sit 12th and have won five of their 10 home matches so far this term. They also have two matches in hand on Billericay, sitting five points behind them.
Despite having already played a number of teams in the division twice, this will be the first meeting between the two this campaign.
WHAT HE SAYS: Town boss Craig Edwards said: “I don’t know a lot about Burgess Hill. I just I have played them once when I was at Dulwich Hamlet but not while at Billericay.
“That said all teams at this level are unpredictable. We are a prime example. This is almost a completely different team to the one we had last year but I believe we are close to being a very good side.”
