GK – Josh Vickers: On loan at Concord from Arsenal last year and is without a doubt the best keeper I have played with. An unbelievable shot stopper, especially in one-on-one situations. I was always confident he would save it and he kept us in games on numerous times.

RB – Mark Lambert: Mark, who I played with at Chesham, was probably one of the fittest right backs I’ve played with. He was box-to-box, solid defensively, strong in tackles but he also had pace and was a threat going forward.

LB – Johnny Herd: Mr Consistent at Bishop’s Stortford. The most reliable player in the team who loves a chop and is a long throw specialist.

CB – Andy Keepence: I played with Andy at Potters Bar, Chesham and Waltham Abbey. A no nonsense centre half, a great skipper and I can't remember him making a mistake when I played with him. He was also key in my progress through the leagues.

CB – Sean Davis: Sean is about 6ft 5in and was excellent in the air when I played with him at Bishop’s Stortford. One of the calmest centre halves on the floor that I’ve played with and would always pop up with important goals.

CM – Alex Woodyard: Anyone who knows Woody knows he was an extra hard worker, excellent at breaking up attacks and transitioning that into counter attacks for us at Concord last year. I can imagine he would be a very frustrating player to play against.

RM – Reece Prestedge: Another ex-Stortford team-mate, Reece is an excellent captain and I learnt a lot from his experience at this level as it is the highest I’ve played at. He is always aware of what’s around him, which makes his distribution excellent but he is also a hard worker who leaves everything on the pitch.

CM – James White: I am playing with Whitey at Concord at the moment, and I have to put him in because he’s my captain! Seriously though, for someone with presence, height and strength he also has very quick feet and always makes others against him look stupid. A very good skipper too.

ST – Taylor Miles: A team-mate at Concord last season, Taylor is one of the most technically gifted players I’ve played with. He is a free kick specialist, and his link-up play with the front men is quality. He plays one and two touch football but is always looking to get on the ball and create openings.

ST – Lewis Taaffe: Everyone at Concord knows Taaffe is the angriest and biggest moaner on the pitch (including himself) but he will always put his body on the line for team. He always contributes goals, and is another consistent player who I built a good partnership with last season scoring 15 goals apiece.

LM – Adam Marriott: Currently at Stevenage but I played with him at Bishop’s Stortford. Difficult for teams to defend against and his touch was outrageous. He will always score you goals.
