THE PREVIEW: Billericay were made to rue a host of missed chances as they went down to Harrow Borough last weekend.

Town had taken the lead thanks to on-loan Braintree striker Jordan Cox, but the front man missed several glaring chances to extend the advantage before Town were pegged back.

Next up is a match against bottom-of-the-table Lewes who, despite their lowly position, have improved in recent weeks.

In fact, they have won three of the last six, including a 3-1 victory over Canvey Island last time out.

Billericay were 3-2 winners in the reverse fixture, with Mike Fondop and Onome Sodje in the goals that day. But who will get the nod tomorrow?

WHAT HE SAYS: Town manager Craig Edwards said: “We had enough chances to win three games at Harrow Borough but we need to forget about it and move on.

“It was disappointing that the unbeaten run came to an end but I said to the boys that we may not get a result we deserve at some point and so it proved.

“Lewes are at the bottom but are doing well under new management and have added some good players. When you are down there, it can give you the freedom to play a more expansive game, and so it is proving with them.

“We need to make sure we are on our game.”
