Dereham Town 5–1 Great Wakering Rovers
From Aldiss Park
Ryman One North
LUKE Tuttle hit four goals as Great Wakering Rovers were brushed aside 5-1 by Dereham Town.
Wakering were safe and had little to play for but league places, although the same applied to Dereham.
Away manager Gary Ansell started a number of young talents, with several absentees, but it was one man that ran the show in the first period.
Tuttle scored a 20-minute hat-trick, opening his account after 12 minutes with a neat finish.
And a pair of penalties added to Wakering’s woes as the half went on, trailing 3-0 at the interval.
But there were signs of revival after the break. Seven minutes into the half Jake Gordon pulled a goal back but that was as good as it got.
Matt Howard and Tuttle scored within four minutes of each other to take the scoreline to 5-1 and that was how it stayed.
Great Wakering Rovers: Seal, Pugsley (Clark), Addington, Hilder, Sparrow, Sands, Toussaint, Bradley (Bird), Gordon, Gilchrist, Harris (Hicks)
