GREAT WAKERING V HARINGEY BOROUGH/RYMAN ONE NORTH

The preview: Great Wakering Rovers have a golden chance to end their season on a high as they look to build on recent good home form against Haringey Borough.

Both sides are sandwiched in the bottom half but Wakering can draw level with tomorrow’s opponents with a final day victory.

However, Haringey have performed better on their travels than on their own turf this season, with eight of their 12 triumphs coming on the road.

On the other hand Wakering have won eight of their 12 matches at Burroughs Park and will want to build on a recent improvement in home form that has seen them lose just one of their last five.

What he said: Great Wakering boss Gary Ansell said: “We went to Dereham and it was a struggle with traffic and we started the game well. 5-1 didn't reflect the score line and some of the young lads showed they could make the step up.

"There were plusses and it wasn't a total wasted journey.

"We have a full squad for tomorrow and we are safe but we want people to show they want to play here. Some guys owe a performance but we won't be playing football for a few months so I expect a good display.

"Haringey are our bogey side and we seem to struggle against them and I need the side to show we can match that. I believe we can and you don't want to end the season in a slump and we need to show that tomorrow."
