CONCORD Rangers and East Thurrock United will renew their rivalry over the festive period after the National League South fixtures were announced this afternoon.
The Thurrock side make the short trip to Canvey Island on Boxing Day before the Beach Boys travel to Rookery Hill on Sunday, January 1.
East Thurrock won promotion via the Ryman Premier League play-offs last season, securing a play in the second tier of non-league football for the first time.
And they will open their season against fellow new-boys Hungerford Town, after they were promoted from the Southern Premier League, also by the play-offs, when the campaign begins on August 6.
Rocks’ first away match in the division will be against Hemel Hempstead Town before the curtain closes on Saturday, April 29 against Wealdstone.
This is Concord’s fourth consecutive season in the National League South, and they begin their season on the road, with a relatively short trip to St Albans City.
Their first home match is just three days later and it promises to be a tough one, against last year’s beaten play-off finalists Ebbsfleet United.
They complete the season at Hampton & Richmond Borough.
