BILLERICAY Town came from behind to earn an admirable draw against a strong Gillingham side on Wednesday night.

The match ended 1-1 as Josh Oyinsan struck a fierce leveller for the hosts shortly after Bradley Dack had put the Gills into a 76th minute lead.

However, Town can consider themselves unfortunate not to have won the match, with goalkeeper Stuart Nelson forced into a host of fine saves.

The occasion marked a return to New Lodge for Justin Edinburgh, now in charge at Gillingham, but who ended his playing career and started his managerial career at Billericay.

Current Town boss Craig Edwards made nine changes at half-time, with just Jack Giddens and Sam Cross keeping their places.
