SOUTHEND AC enjoyed a hugely successful weekend in the latest East Anglian League meeting, with a number of winning age groups.
The Under-13 Boys, Under-15 Boys and Under-17 Men all won their age groups at the third round meeting at Southend’s Garon Park last Sunday.
Competing against the likes of Braintree, Luton, West Suffolk, Colcehster and Tendring and Leighton Buzzard, team manager Brad Wheeler was delighted to with his team’s effort, as the Senior/Under-17 Women finished second and the Senior/Under-20 Men were third in one of the best results the club has enjoyed for a long time.
