l RUNDOWN: Adam Flanagan returns to his former stomping ground tomorrow, looking for a repeat of last season’s result.

The Beach Boys boss had a successful period at Princes Park and enjoyed his visit last campaign, with a 2-1 win in Kent last season.

Captain James White scored a stunning winner that day and Flanagan would love a similar result tomorrow after a difficult start to the season.

Concord are currently bottom of the standings with six points from their 11 games so far, while they were knocked out of the FA Cup by AFC Rushden & Diamonds last weekend, a side two divisions below them.

The Darts secured an excellent 3-2 win at Chelmsford City in the cup and sit 10th in the league.

l MANAGER’S VIEW: Beach Boys boss Adam Flanagan said: “We definitely need to bounce back from the FA Cup loss and start getting the results we need to move away from the bottom of the league.

“Saturday was the final straw with respects to some of the players we had in our squad so a few were released after the game. We need mentally tough players to turn our season around and if I don’t see this in players performances more will have to go.

“The club has never been in this position before and what will happen is that the weak will leave and the tough will stay and fight to improve things. It’s easy when things are going good it’s tough in situations like this but you get to see individuals character.

“I believe our away form was better last year as well so it is very puzzling but all I can think is that when we play at home we don’t get the atmosphere we do when we play away. We need a 12th man at home and some vocal support from the sides.

“Yes we haven’t given the fans much to cheer about at home but your club and the players need you more than ever before.

“So win, lose or draw let’s be loud and proud from here on out as it may just be the difference to turn our home results around.”

l TEAM NEWS: Defender Jack Lampe and midfielder Harvey Hodd have departed, Jordan Chiedozie returns to the club.
