HADLEIGH & Thundersley made back to back wins in the Premier Division after beating Loughton by 93 runs.

Hadleigh batted first after winning the toss and made 264/8.

Opener Cameron Shekleton top scored with 76 while fellow opener Sam Handley added 51.

In reply, Loughton were dismissed for 171.

Adam Dobson (3/51) and Handley (3/52) both impressed with the ball as Hadleigh triumphed to go top of the table after three games.

In Division One, Billericay saw off Upminster by 39 runs.

Billericay batted first after winning the toss and scored 284/4.

Matthew Bell top scored with 77 not out while Rowan Elliott added 73 and Arjun Bhardwaj 49 before Upminster finished on 245/7 in reply.

Robert Rayner, Louis Barrell and Amar Patel all took two wickets each to ensure victory for Billericay.

In Division Two, Westcliff bagged an emphatic 161 run win against Wickford.

Westcliff batted first and were bowled out for 253.

Naeem Amin top scored with 44 while Andrew Morley scored 43 and Basit Ahmed 40.

Callum Brown was the pick of Wickford’s bowlers as he took three wickets for 47 runs.

In reply, Wickford were bowled out for just 92 with Gareth Wright top scoring with 24 not out.

Muhammad Farooqi did the damage with the ball for Westcliff as he finished with 6/19.

There was also victory for Old Southendian & Southchurch as they beat Oakfield Parkonians by five wickets.

Oakfield elected to bat after winning the toss and were dismissed for 261.

Joe Madren took 4/44 with the ball before Southendian reached the required total for the loss of five wickets.

Max Craddock scored 70 not out while opener Hafiz Yawer Afzal added 64 and Muhammad Usman Ghani 46.

Elsewhere, Benfleet suffered a four wicket defeat against Woodford Wells.

Batting first, Benfleet scored 154 with David Jarrett leading the way with 81 not out.

In reply, Woodford Wells made it home for the loss of six wickets.

Ross Casson (2/25) was the pick of Benfleet’s bowlers.

In Division Three, Leigh on Sea beat Bentley by 30 runs.

Leigh were dismissed for 170 with James Spencer top scoring with 44.

Bentley were bowled out for 130 in reply with James Spencer taking 4/39 and James Pettitt 3/15 as Leigh moved up to fourth in the table.

In Division Four, Southend & EMT beat South Woodford by 74 runs.

Southend were bowled out for 160 after being put into bat.

Joe Sibbons top scored with 34 before South Woodford were bowled out for 86 in reply with Luke Clarke proving to be the match-winner as he took seven wickets for just 22 runs.
