In the Premier, Prittlewell lost their unbeaten record, going down to Rankins by 16 runs.

Batting first, Rankins scored 109-6 with Greenfield top-scoring with 39. Hunt took 3-39.

Prittlewell, with Green on 30, fell short at 93-7 with Budrey taking 3-15 and Simmons 2-30.

Trinity are chasing Prittlewell hard and had a good win over Hadleigh and Thundersley.

Batting first Trinity totalled 112-6 off 12 overs with Batch on 51. Saxton took 4-24 in three overs.

In reply Hadleigh fell short, finishing on 99-6 with A Downey 21 and Chirag Desai taking 2-14.

In Division One leaders Emersons went down to Civic Centre by seven wickets.

Sandford (27) helped Emersons to 92-6 off 12 overs with S Ball taking 3-33. A Richards (32) and J Horne (27 not out) took Civic Centre to 93-3 with Graves taking 2-33.

South East Police had a comprehensive win over Rayleigh Fairview.

Blunt (55) took Police to 128-5 in 12 overs with Sam Johnson taking 2-19 in three overs.

In reply, despite 36 from Russell Shearman and 19 from Donnellion, Fairview could only manage 78-3 in 12 overs. Lucas took 2-22 in four overs.

Hockley are pushing for top spot after a nine-wicket win over Chequers.
