Ryman One North: Concord Rangers, currently lying sixth, will bid to keep up the pressure on the teams above them by sinking naval town visitors Chatham Town at Thames Road tonight.

Fresh from Saturday’s solid win at bottom club Hillingdon Borough, the Canvey-based side will also look to add to the misery of tonight’s relegation-threatened visitors.

Concord won 4-1 at Chatham earlier in the season, but joint boss Danny Scopes does not expect an easy task this evening.

“We probably played our best football of the season that night,” he said.

“The score probably flattered us as they weren’t a bad footballing side.”

On-loan Dagenham and Red-bridge striker Kayla Kalipha scored for the third conescutive game in Saturday’s win, but is rated as only 50-50 for tonight due to an ankle probem.

“Kayla and Danny Heale have both been working hard and building-up a good understanding in attack,” added Scopes.

Another front-runner, Mich-ael Begg, could return after a spell out injured.
