IF there is such a thing as a “must-win” game in soccer, Thurrock face it today.
For they host a Fisher Athletic team who lost their eighth successive league game on Monday when going down 2-0 at home to Braintree.
Fleet are fourth from bottom, but their London opponents are in real danger of making the drop and have just 14 points from 25 games.
Thurrock picked up a vital point in a 1-1 draw at Bognor Regis on Tuesday, but their 24 points from 26 games leaves them just three points ahead of a Basingstoke side immediately below them from two matches more.
