RYAN Hall wants to carry on being Southend United’s lucky charm when Blues head to Northampton Town on Saturday.

The 22-year-old left winger has triumphed in all three of his matches since coming in to the starting line-up.

And he aims to make it four at the Sixfields Stadium.

“It’s been great to get the three good results and we want to keep it going now,” said Hall.

“The boys are really buzzing after the week we’ve just had and are really happy so we’re confident about our chances ahead of the game at Northampton.

“We’re all gelling together as a team as well which helps and all went out to celebrate in a local pub after winning at the weekend.”

Hall, a summer signing from Blue Square South Bromley, made his full debut for Southend in a 2-0 triumph at Bradford City.

He then also started the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy clash with Gillingham, which Blues won on penalties, before impressing in the 2-1 win over Torquay United on Saturday.

“I was pleased with the game at the weekend and I thought we played well to get a good result,” said Hall.

“The gaffer and Tommy Widdrington spoke to me before the game about getting at their full-back and I’d like to think I did that.”
