BILLERICAY Town chairman Steve Kent says there has been plenty of interest from people looking to buy the club.
Kent announced he had put the Conference South club up for sale earlier this month.
He has revealed most of the interest received would be classed as “not serious, but one or two enquiries seem to be genuine.”
He added: “They clearly have a degree of knowledge about non-league football and they have asked the right questions. Time will tell if they want to progress things any further.”
