Aldi has revealed the quietest times for customers to pick up their shopping in Essex ahead of the busy Bank Holiday weekend.

The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket has revealed that Saturday will be its busiest shopping day over the weekend as Brits enjoy a long Bank Holiday weekend for May Day.

Normal opening hours will remain in place at Aldi’s UK stores on Saturday and Sunday, and will then be opening until 8pm on the Early May Bank Holiday.

When is the quietest time to shop at Aldi in Essex?

Between 8am and 9am and 7pm and 10pm are the quietest times for customers to pick up their shopping in Essex, the supermarket giant revealed.

The opening times of some stores over the Bank Holiday may vary, so customers should check their nearest store on Aldi’s website before making their journey.

Richard Thornton, communications director at Aldi UK, said: “We know how much people love to come together over a Bank Holiday weekend, come rain or shine, and that there’s nothing better than enjoying delicious food and drink with friends and family.

“That's why Aldi is here to help ensure you can pick up everything you need for the weekend ahead, without having to break the bank.”

Click and Collect is also available to customers at a number of Aldi stores between 9am and 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am and 4pm on Sundays, bank holiday times will vary.

Customers at selected stores can visit groceries.aldi.co.uk to browse the supermarket’s range online and book a timeslot for collection, where all of their shopping will be brought to their cars and loaded into their boots by Aldi colleagues.
